Deepankar Aron is a passionate traveller, photographer and writer; a graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi and holds a Presidential Award for his contribution to the Indian Revenue Service. ‘On the trail of Buddha — A Journey to the East’ is his second book after, ‘World Heritage Sites of Uttarakhand’ a guide to the natural beauties of the Valley of Flowers and Nanda Devil National Parks. Now living in the Himalayan Highlands of Uttarakahnd, his story continues as an advocate for spiritual travel and cultural exchange.
